One Chip Rule

Definition

A live-poker rule where putting out one oversized chip without a verbal raise is usually a call.

To match the current bet or raise and continue in the hand.

To increase the current bet.

A card that can improve a hand to the likely winner.

A chip larger than the call amount; without a verbal declaration, it is often treated as a call under the one-chip rule.
